Sweet On Pets is Owned by Candi Stamm. It is run by a team of dedicated, pet loving caretakers and groomers, based in Milwaukie, OR.
Since I started as a groomer seven years ago, I’ve never been happier in my life. Many years ago, I started a career in computers. Everything from Symantec techsupport to Yesmail data analyst. I found the most amazing career completely by accident. While I was completing my last year in school at 35 years of age, I started a temporary job as dog bather, only because I wanted contact with our furry friends. After graduating from Architectural design and drafting, I continued to work as a bather, then an apprentice as a groomer at A Cut Above Dog and Cat Grooming. I spent time at Pretty Paws and Claws in Sellwood, then onto Petco in Jansen beach. Soon after, I moved to start a career at the Petco in Walla walla. Then, I returned back to where I apprenticed, as an experienced groomer. I knew without a doubt, I could understand my canine friends, sometimes better than my human ones. My path in life took a drastic turn for the better and I will always be thankful.
